ISVC 2012 Hotel
ISVC'12 will take place at Aquila Rithymna Beach Resort, a 5-star hotel which is home to 4 pools and 4 restaurants, and right on Crete’s longest sandy beach. Rethymnon is only 4 miles away (10-minute drive), while Chania and Heraklion are 41 and 44 miles away, respectively. Aquila Rithymna Beach offers classically decorated rooms and bungalows as well as extensive children’s facilities. Guests can enjoy lunch at Mournies tavern, resting under the shade of mulberry trees, or try gourmet dishes at the Ancient Eleftherna restaurant. There is also a typical Greek Kafeneion serving traditional beverages and meze.

On most routes they’re frequent and reliable. For travel between main towns and routes serving villages, even quite remote ones, the buses are modern, air-conditioned, luxury coaches. Fares are low. By taxi: The most convenient way to get to the Conference hotel from all locations (airport/port/downtown) is to use a taxi. There are taxis as you exit the aiport, port, and various locations downtown. Click here for detailed information. The ride to the Conference hotel is about ? minutes from Chania and ? minutes from Heraklion and should cost approximately ? € depending on starting point. There are charts inside the airport with current taxi fares from the airport. Extra costs of 0.3 € per luggage item is charged.
