After 20 remarkable years, the International Symposium on Visual Computing (ISVC) has come to a close. We wish to acknowledge everyone who supported ISVC in countless ways – organizers, reviewers, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees. Your collective efforts fostered a dynamic community that will continue to influence the field for years to come. While ISVC as a conference comes to a close, ISVC\u2019s impact will continue through the work and connections it fostered.\u00a0 We wish you all continued success in your future research and endeavors!<\/p>\n

Welcome to ISVC<\/h2>\n

The purpose of the International Symposium on Visual Computing (ISVC) is to provide a common forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and applications in visual computing. We seek papers describing contributions to the state of the art and state of the practice in the four central areas of visual computing: computer vision<\/strong>, computer graphics<\/strong>, virtual reality<\/strong>, and visualization<\/strong>. Papers that span multiple areas are particularly encouraged.<\/p>\n

ISVC will consist of invited and contributed presentations dealing with all aspects of visual computing. In addition to the main program, the symposium includes six keynote presentations, tutorials<\/a> , special tracks<\/a>, and a poster session. The symposium’s proceedings will be published by <\/span>Springer<\/strong>\u00a0in the <\/span>Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS)<\/strong> series. Information on abstracting and indexing of the LNCS series<\/strong> can be found <\/span>here<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span>A “best paper award ($500) will be sponsored by Springer this year<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Authors of selected papers presented at ISVC’25 will be invited<\/strong> to submit an extended<\/strong> version of their\u00a0work for\u00a0expedited<\/strong> review and possible publication in a special issue<\/strong> on Advances in Visual Computing<\/strong> in the Machine Vision and Applications<\/strong><\/a> journal. The paper submission deadline is tentatively on April 15, 2026<\/strong>\u00a0with publication of the special issue expected within 2026.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
